As many of you already know, our sales manager and beer salesman extraordinaire, Anthony “Tony Bagz” Bagdasarian, was recently hospitalized with serious illness. He is currently stable, and on the mend, but he is facing a long road to full recovery with many unknowns. All this happened very abruptly and, frankly, we’ve been pretty lost without the dude… In the spirit of helping him and his family with a hefty stack of bills from hotel rooms, hospitals, emergency travel, and everything else under the sun, we’ve devised a pretty radical west coast IPA, that we think would make him proud to be a Cosmic Cowboy. . When our tasting room opens today we’ll be releasing, “Here’s One For A.B.” in 4-packs & on draft. This west coast IPA was built lean and mean, with a light malt base of 50% Pilsner & 50% 2-row barleys. Hot side hopping with Galaxy and Strata, followed by a fuckin’ HEFTY dry hop of more Strata, Simcoe & NZ Rakau leads to a psychedelic stone fruit aroma with notes of peach blossom, fruity pebbles, and Buddha’s hand lemon zest. . Lastly, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, we will be donating ALL OF THE PROCEEDS from the draft and cased goods to Bagz (and our budz @mercenarycanning donated the canning), in hopes that it will ease the weight of recovery and get him back on his feet in style, the only way he knows how. So friends, ditch those other Friday plans you had, and lets celebrate this dude!
